L'Ecurie Holiday Cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 5 guests. The master bedroom has a kingsized bed (160cm x 200cm), single bed and travel cot, whilst the second bedroom has 2 single beds.


This holiday home can be rented individually, or with Le Vieux Café (3 bedrooms) that is at the same location.

Price Includes:
Bed Linens, Towels (Bath, Hand & Tea Towels), Internet Access, Winter Heating for short lets, Electricity. Water, Full use of House, Gardens & Pool. If you are renting for longer than 2 weeks, then electric heating will be charged as per your usage.
Pool is heated from May until the end of September.

Thank you, Annette and Jason, for making our 2 week stay so enjoyable. It is our second time here and our children who are 6 and 7 years old had great fun each day in the pool! They also absolutely loved the games room!
We visited the local beaches several times – our favourite was Plage La Terrière. We had a super meal at La Bourlingue in Port Bourgenay.
We will definitely be back!

Another great holiday in L’Ecurie. This year we tried paddle boarding at the Atlantic Wake Park. We also visited Ile de Ré for the first time – climbing to the top of the lighthouse for some great views.
We had delicious pizza & pasta in the Trattoria di Antonio & Maria in Luçon. We also had lovely burgers from the visiting ‘Made in 85" burger van in the village.
We spent lots of time relaxing by the pool – saw some great sunsets too!
Annette & Jason were very hospitable – as usual!

We arrive at L’Ecurie, look at the view and sigh, many times! It is so very relaxing as we know we have everything we could possibly need in the gite and are surrounded by beautiful countryside & beaches are close by. The wildlife is so exciting at this time of year – we have seen so many (to us!) amazing birds and butterflies, plus dragonflies, lizards and more.
Our sixth stay and it definitely won’t be our last.

Another great week for our 12th (wish) visit here! Beautiful sunsets & very hot weather.
Would recommend the boardwalk in La Faute sur Mer to La Belle Henriette. Also the Speakeasy Bar on the way to Luçon, and the Viviera Pizzeria in Mareuil-sur-Lay.
1st week was mainly a lazy & relaxing one before we collected Grace & Mike from Nantes airport - recommend La Cigale in Nantes for a spot of brekkie!
L'Atlantique Hotel in La Tranche is good too.

We have had a wonderful stay at L'Ecrie and Jason and Annette have been very welcoming and informative during our stay!
We spent most of our days by the pool and utilising the well equipped games room, but also enjoyed the beaches at Le Terrière and La Tranche sur Mer too.

We enjoyed yet another stay here at L’Ecurie. We visited the Puy du Fou where we saw many of the shows including the new show “Le Mime et l’Etoile”. We also went to the O’Fun Park, O’Gliss Park and Vendée Karting.
The gîte was well equipped as always with everything needed and more.
We spent many days by the pool and enjoyed playing in the games room before watching the sunset every night.

Our 5th visit to L'Ecurie! The weather has been mostly glorious, and the pool used every day.
We have found new walks and seen over 50 different bird species. My sister and brother-in-law who joined us for a few days were made as welcome as we always are!
Thank you once again Annette & Jason for your 'goodies' provided on our arrival, and for the tomatoes, figs and grapes from the garden.

Thank you, Annette, and Jason for a wonderful stay in your beautiful holiday cottage and such a warm welcome. The cottage is the most well equipped we have found, and the facilities are excellent. The weather was hot, so we enjoyed the local beaches and pool.
Sitting on our beautiful terrace in the evening was bliss. We enjoyed hearing the owls and seeing hedgehogs.

This is the first time for many years we have stayed in a village setting, and we are so glad we did. The house is comfortable, clean and has everything you need for a relaxing break away from it all. You can, in a very short while, be at the beach and a host of other attractions if you want a more lively stay.
Your hosts, Annette & Jason, cannot be more welcoming or helpful. It is not hard to imagine a return visit in the future and just shutting down after the more hectic parts of a long vacation.
P.S. Sorry forgot to say thank you for the wine & biscuits on arrival and your hospitality on the evening of departure.
